This hand held portable DEX reader can be used to test DEX functionality on any manufacturers control board or vending machine. This is a valuable time saving tool to pinpoint DEX errors to reduce technician time of swapping out parts to find the cause of DEX transmission problems. Includes reader and leather case. This device is typically used to ensure DEX is being retrieved from the controller. Simply press the blue button and look for a red or green light. If a DEX file is retrieved the Pocket Probe LED will illuminate green, if DEX is not retrieved a red LED is shown.
